Bio

F. Michael Gloth, III, MD, FACP, AGSF, CMD has been Director of Geriatrics Ambulatory Services at the Johns Hopkins Medical Institutes. Dr. Gloth, a Baltimore native, received his B.S. in Chemistry and Biology from the College of William and Mary in Virginia and his M.D. from Waynes State University School of Medicine. He completed his Internship and Residency in Internal Medicine at the Union Memorial Hospital in 1987 and a 3-year Fellowship in Geriatric Medicine and Gerontology at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in 1990. After working as a full-time faculty member there until 1993, he left to Chair the Division of Geriatrics at Union Memorial Hospital in Baltimore where he also developed and ran their Fellowship Program in Geriatrics. Most recently, he ran a successful practice in Geriatrics Medicine as President of Victory Springs Senior Health Associates and has been on the part-time faculty as an Associate Professor of Medicine in the Division of Geriatric Medicin
