Performance Improvement Program

Treatment-Resistant Depression Through a Performance Improvement Approach is a comprehensive PI project to improve the management of patients suffering from Treatment-Resistant Depression (TRD). This provider-based program will allow psychiatrists and primary care providers to play an active role in raising the level of quality care for their patients by giving them access to a variety of learning formats, tools, and best practice guidelines specific to the optimal care and management of patients with TRD.

The program is designed to contain 3 simple periods:
  1. Baseline Assessment Period —This will provide you with a data-based assessment of the way that you currently treat patients that are on anti-depressant therapy.
  2. Implementation Period — During this period you will have the opportunity to utilize evidence-based tools and faculty resources in helping you improve the standard of care provided to patients with Treatment Resistant Depression.
  3. Close-out Period — Reports will be provided to you containing valuable information regarding your practice during various periods of the program, and how your practice compares to the aggregate results of your colleagues.
