Q: I mailed my registration form in but have not received a confirmation or a receipt yet. Am I registered?

Q: Do I need my confirmation to enter the Turner Building?
A: No, it is not mandatory. However, it is helpful to have it when passing by the security station at the entrance to Turner.
Q: How long does it take to get to Hopkins from the airport and the train station?
A: It is approximately 20-30 minutes from the airport and 10-15 minutes from the train station.
Q: How long does it take to get from the hotel to the medical school campus?
A: It takes approximately 10-15 minutes to get from Baltimore Inner Harbor hotels to Hopkins. If you are a guest at the hotel, complimentary shuttle transportation may be provided by the hotel. Please refer to the activity brochure for specific details.
Q: Is the medical school campus within walking distance of the hotel?
A: No. We do not advise walking from the hotel to the campus.
Q: Where do I park on the medical school campus?
A: Parking for CME registrants is available. Information is provided along with your confirmation. For maps and directions, click here. If you are a guest at an area hotel, complimentary shuttle transportation may be provided by the hotel. Please refer to the activity brochure for specific details.
Q: Do you validate parking?
A: No. Secure parking is available in the McElderry and Caroline Street garage for a maximum fee of $10 per day. click here for information. For hotel parking information, click here.
Q: May I bring a guest?
A: For most CME courses unpaid guests are not allowed to attend the lectures or meal functions. However, some have social functions which can include guests, usually at an additional charge. Please refer to the course program for specific details. Click here.

Q: I can't attend the conference. Can I get a copy of the syllabus?
A: Often, if you let our office know in advance that you would like a syllabus we can order one printed for you for a fee that would include shipping and handling.
Q: I need to cancel my registration. What should I do?
A: If you must cancel, notify the Office of Continuing Medical Education by phone, (410)502-9634, or fax, (410) 955-0807. A handling fee of $50 is deducted for cancellation. Refund requests must be by fax or mail and received no later than 5 business days prior to the activity. No refunds will be made thereafter. Transfer of registration to another Johns Hopkins conference in lieu of cancellation is not possible. The Johns Hopkins University reserves the right to cancel or postpone any activity due to unforeseen circumstances. In this event, the University will refund the registration fee but is not responsible for travel expenses.
